Hello, hello! Sorry I've been MIA the past few days I've just been busy with life. Can you believe its already Friday!? Seems like the week literally just flew by. I plan on having a low key weekend aside from work and hopefully I'll get to enjoy this nice weather we've been having!
Without wasting too much time, I'm going to get right into this week's edition of Friday Favourites. As always, feel free to comment what you are loving in the comments below!
1. Fab Fit Fun Water Infuser
I received this particular water infuser last year in my Summer 2014 FabFitFun Box. I was obsessed with this bottle when I got it last year and I found myself using it constantly. However, as the winter approached I found myself infusing my water less and less. Now that Summer is right around the corner I have pulled it out again. I love being able to cut up fruit and give me water some flavour every once and a while!
2. #Girl Boss
After reading so many amazing reviews on this book, I decided I had to buy it. I purchased it off of Amazon a few weeks back and I've been hooked on it every chance I've got. I'm currently on my last chapter, so if anyone has any book recommendations for my next read please let me know in the comments!
3. Forever 21 Pajamas
I am sucker for Forever 21 pajamas. They have the cutest prints on them and are so inexpensive. When I saw these ones online last week I knew I just had to purchase them. How cute are the ice cream cones?
4. Skintamate Shaving Cream
Alright, I have a confession... I hate buying shaving cream! Normally, I'll just use some soap and water while shaving my legs. However, over the past few weeks I've noticed that my legs are becoming so irritated from shaving (I have very sensitive skin). After rummaging through one of my junk drawers I found this travel bottle of Skintamate which also came in my summer 2014 FabFitFun box! I must admit, that after using this shaving cream my legs feel WAY better. I will likely purchase this cream on routine.
5. Bath and Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla Lotion
As I have previously mentioned, I am a huge Bath and Body Works junkie. Due to the fact my skin has been insanely dry lately I have been consistently using this black raspberry banilla Lotion from BBW. I must say, the moisture is amazing and the smell is even better!
That's all the favourites I have for you today, have a great weekend!

Things I'm Really Bad At
This morning while sitting in the Dentist's chair having my teeth cleaned a conversation with the hygenist got me thinking. We were sitting there talking about taking vitamins daily and how we often forget. After the conversation I began thinking of all the things I am terrible at doing and I managed to come up with this list for you.
Things I'm Really Bad At:
1) Remembering if I took my vitamins (multi, fish oil, iron, zinc etc)
2) Washing fruit before eating it
3) Turning off my hair straightener when I am finished using it
4) Completely finishing a water bottle before grabbing another
5) Recycling said water bottles after they are finished
6) Disconnecting from my phone (I swear I am always touching it)
7) Setting my FitBit on sleep mood
8) Logging food into my fitness pal
9) Thinking before I speak
10) Letting little things bother me
11) Getting Gas before my car is on empty
12) Leaving a pile of shoes at the front door
13) Flossing
There's a fairly good list for all of you, if you wish to participate in the fun post what you're really bad at in the comments below!

Chia & Flax Protein Pancakes
Hello Friends, and Happy Victoria Day to all my Canadian friends! Hope everyone had a great weekend, it was business as usual over here.
Today I'm sharing a recipe for my favourite Chia & Flax Protein Pancakes. I'm sure I speak for many when I say I love me some pancakes. Being the health nut I am I cannot bring myself to eat the typical buttermilk pancakes slathered in maple syrup. After some tweaks I think I have finally managed to come up with the perfect protein pancake recipe.
You will need the following ingredients to make these pancakes (makes 4-5 medium size pancakes) :
1/3 cup oats
1/3 egg whites or 1 whole egg
1 banana
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein
1 tbsp flax seed
1 tbsp chia seeds
Any berries of your choosing or enjoy as is!
Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and mix until creamy.
Set your stove to low to medium heat in order to cook your pancakes. Do not put the stove on high as the pancakes will burn easily.
Flip once the batter begins to bubble.
Once your pancakes are all cooked, top with more fruit, agave nectar or if you have a sweet tooth like me some real coconut whip cream!
If you give these pancakes a try let me know in the comments below!
Have a Happy Monday!

Friday Favourites # 1
Hello Friends and Happy Friday! To kick off the weekend I am rounding up my favourites from this week. Without wasting much time, let's get into it!
1. Bath & Body Works hand soap
I'm sure I speak for many when I say that BBW soap is AMAZING. Seriously, I cannot get enough of it. I recently picked up the new Rio Samba Sunset hand soap and it smells so good! It reminds me of being on a tropical island and it is just purely amazing. If you haven't tried BBW soap I suggest you do ASAP.
2 . EOS Lip Balm
I have had an obsession with EOS Lip Balm for a while now and I am always intrigued by different flavours. I recently picked up my usual variety pack at Costco and was surprised to see the Blueberry Acai in there. I love all of the flavours but the Blueberry Acai is pretty fantastic!
3. Decorware Candle
On my weekly trip to Winners, I picked up this scented candle. I am a lover of candles and I love picking up great smelling ones at Winners. I was intrigued by the name of this candle being Tobacco & Oak though. I promise you this candles smells way better than its name! It is a more masculine scent but I assure you it is divine.
4. Lemon Zest Luna Bar
I am a huge junkie for protein and nutrition bars, and the more you read this blog you'll understand my obsession. Luna bars are one of my favourite nutrition bars and I have tried many flavours. I am not a huge fan of lemon but I decided to pick them up a couple weeks ago just to try. I'm not going to lie the Lemon Zest is quite delicious and I will definitely be purchasing them again soon.

Well friends, that's about all I have for you today but if please share any of your favourites from this week below! Have a great weekend everyone!

Thinking out loud #1
Hello friends, as I am new to the blogging world I thought it would be nice to participate in #thinkingoutloud Thursday! To get this point going I am linking up with Amanda at Running with Spoons
This post will be dedicated to all my random thoughts and I will try to participate every Thursday!
1. What is happening on this season of Big Brother Canada? Seriously, I am just so turned off by the remaining cast in the house that I could care less who wins. In fact I would probably be perfectly content without even watching the rest of the season (not actually because I'm obsessed but seriously). All the twists these seasons are making it extremely difficult for actual competitors to even play a real game. All these twists do are give the useless players advantages.
2. My Lululemon addiction has seriously gotten so out of hand. A friend once asked me to take inventory of my Lulu clothing and to be honest I couldn't. I own WAY too much. However, I did take inventory of the amount of shopping bags I have from Lulu and lets just say there were 30 excluding the few I found later and the ones I have thrown out or given away.
3. Am I the only one who thinks that black furniture is a HUGE pain. Seriously, I find myself dusting my furniture at least 3 times a week. I swear I dust it and the dust instantly returns. I love the look of black furniture but it is so high maintenance.
4. I recently bought the new GayLea real coconut whip cream and it is amazing! I can't rave enough about how awesome it is. The unfortunate part is that after just two uses I found that the spray can no longer works. I was extremely disappointed and called the company directly. I recieved amazing customer service from a man (who's name I completely forget) and he sent me a bunch of coupons in the mail for free products and savings! Shout out to you GayLea.
5. I am largely obsessed with Lauren Conrad and have been since The Hills. I would just like to point out how excited I was for her Minnie Mouse Collection at Kohls. Sadly, I checked out two different Kohls locations and neither one had anything available in my size. It was truly a sad day.
Look how cute this outfit is!
That concludes my thoughts for this week's edition of #thinkingoutloud be sure to stop by for more thoughts next week!

Hello!
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! Blogs are something that I
have been passionate about for a long time. I have always enjoyed
reading them and I have finally decided to begin writing my own. On my
blog you will be able to find regular posts about health, wellness,
fashion, food and daily happenings.
Before I begin regular posts I think it is only proper that I introduce myself. Firstly, my name is Alexandra but everyone calls me Alex. I recently completed my college diploma with a focus in business marketing. I am a daughter, sister, fitness lover, aspiring yogi, and foodie.
I would consider myself a huge product junkie. I have an obsession with lipstick, bows , sequins, Lululemon and home decor.
That's about all I have to say for right now, look forward to chatting with you all soon!
Love , Alex
